"View" Button
A way to see someone else's invetory, and build(furthur explanation)
Ok so basically when you click on a person, their Hp bar shows at the top of the screen. Next to the trade button a "View" button or View Player.
Basically hat ever they see when they press I, you would see.
Now i thought of this, i don't know if anyone likes to keep their build to them selfs....But one would have the option to make their build unviewable, So no one else could see it, or steal it.
It would encourage more trade. ( "Hey, Necro Dude, you gonna sell your perfect w\e." ) Yeah...
Yes! I know this feature from WoW, but ya know what...who gives a rats behind if we use some of the great ideas WoW has. Just as long as our game is better.

You said the word "WoW" on GWG... If this thread is anything like past threads, people are gonna start lynching you...
Nice idea. Never played WoW myself... But this isn't going to get friendly responses. Not on Guru.

If your inventory is viewable to everyone, anyone carrying a rare item might get spammed because some jerk looked at their inventory and decided that they want the item, then start spamming the person who has it.
If we get to chose if our inventory is publicly viewable or not, why would I chose to make it publicly viewable ?

Hmm, easily solved. "ignore" the person.
I would love to have this, cause iam sure you wonder sometimes what people acually have. Armor, weapons...
Hmm, and keep money hidden too. Period.

Id hate being in LA, and having people pm, BUY UR SWOD BURING YOUR SWOD. Which would lead me to make pricky comments like, Did i say i was selling? Things like this would irritate me if i was just meeting up with some friends. Plus i dont like sharing builds either. And if people could see your inv, that could possibly increase the chances of getting your account jacked. If the guy tried hard enough. It would just cause problems, its fine how it is.

Paperdoll systems are awesome, Basically you can see what the character has equipped. So basically the view we get in the inventory window!
Endless Online has a cool paperdoll.

This leads to all sorts of stuff like "superior vigor only" discrimination in later groups.

Ok yeah, i guess you all are right....I guess thats why WoW(were i got the idea) sucks and is so insecure.
Its funny, thats half of what my stupid WoW playing friends talk about. Hacking each others accounts and other player's.

Nah, this wouldn't make the accounts insecure. All it would do is help the hackers know which accounts are better targets.

Can't ignore everyone, the list caps at 10. I'm constantly trying to decide who is the least of a nuisance so I can remove them and add the latest pest to the list.
Only three people have reserved permanent spaces on my ignore list though - an immature jerk, an incredibly rude player, and a very ignorant religious fanatic.

If someone in my party wants to know my build, I can ping it. If someone wants to know what weapon I'm carrying, I can ping it. If someone wants to know how much health/energy I have - I can ping them as well.
If I'm in an outpost, I don't want people seeing all my nice goodies and pestering me about them. If I want to sell any onf my nice goodies, I'll let people know.
